You should aim to build your own sources of residual income if you want to retire young and rich.
I’ll share with you 10 of the most popular ways for people to start earning a residual income online.

1 – First and foremost, you can start earning a steady stream of residual income if you have your own product. It doesn’t matter if it’s an ebook that you’re selling for $4.99 each or if it is software that is custom made for $199 a pop. Having your own product can help you to have total control of the amount of income that you’ll generate.

2 – Starting your own membership site. People are willing to pay money if you help them to solve a certain problem that they’re facing. Membership site is a lucrative income source if it’s done correctly. There are various model of this sites available out there, such as paid dating sites like adult friend finder, match.com and various other sites build as membership site. You can easily get $9.99 per member if it’s done correctly.

3 – Selling other people’s product. You will have lesser control on this one but you can make a lot of money if you join sites like Commission Junction and Clickbank to get your source of product. This business model is referred as affiliate marketing. It is common to see people who are earning several thousands per month by doing affiliate marketing.

4 – Sell subscription. This is perfect if you’re providing a service that people will want to use over and over again such as web hosting service.

Doing online marketing is just like any business out there, you get paid for what you do. I’ve also recently purchased the The Action Machine to help me keep track of how much time I spend on a certain activity. You might wanna check it out too, I think it’s an excellent tool for busy people.

So from now on, I’ll only check my stats two times in a day and won’t spend more than 30 minutes whenever I do the checking :-) This will probably help me to focus on getting more jobs done instead of staring at the screen wondering how I get visited for funny keywords I didn’t even spend much time to write about before this. I might as well use the time to get backlinks for my blogs from online forums or social bookmarks and do something that can increase exposure for my websites.

I’d like to know if you’re like me too when it comes to checking your web stat, are you obsessed with it and come back checking for every 5 minutes or so? Or did you managed to cure this addiction and move on to do more important things for your website.

And I am posting this entry because I am currently moderating the 300 blog comments that I receive and I noticed this blog has been a victim of spammmer who aren’t even bothered if their comments are going to get approved or not, which I think is a just a waste of time.

I am not sure how they got my blog but I am assuming that they probably has been using automated software like Scrapebox to scrape the urls of websites in the niche they’re targeting but didn’t actually invest the time to leave a meaningful blog comments on the list of blogs they harvested.

I am actually planning to reward my blog visitor with a sitewide dofollow link by using the top commentator wordpress plugin. So, make sure you do not leave a generic comment here because that’s not going to get approved and gain any backlink for you.

I’ll see how it goes and decide whether I should continue to use it in 3 months’ time.

There are a few things that I don’t like to link to, and that includes, casino and adult sites, so, please avoid from using those sites as your website url because I am not going to approve those :-)

With that being said, I am welcoming any suggestion on feedback on this matter.
